It's been a wonderful start to February for the team at Care and Companionship with Emma, and I wanted to share some of the highlights from the past week or so!
The team have been busy across Pembrokeshire providing that all-important care and companionship for our fabulous clients, who've been enjoying a real variety of activities recently.
Our lovely Mr C attended The VC Gallery on Monday with Kathryn to take part in the Ground to Plate project, which was a fantastic experience. We've also been making the most of the dry weather windows we've had – helping our newest client, Mr D, tidy up his vegetable patches and getting everything shipshape for the growing season ahead.
Matthew provided a wonderful three-hour respite visit for Mr M, who's been working on an Airfix model he started just before Christmas. It's been lovely to see the progress he's making! And as always, I've been receiving pictures of the delicious tasty treats that Mr P has been baking – honestly, they look absolutely amazing!
These are just a few snippets from our week. Behind the scenes, the team also spend their days providing vital personal care, supporting individuals with their medication, and helping with meal preparations. Every day is different, and that's what makes our work so rewarding.
