We were absolutely delighted to receive such kind words recently from Bridie Moore, who previously worked with us here at Care and Companionship with Emma Ltd before relocating to Shrewsbury.
We're proud to provide not only high-quality, person-centred care, but also a supportive and flexible working environment for our staff, and it means so much to us when former team members take the time to share their experience.
Bridie has worked in the care industry alongside other employment since the age of 18, for the last 14 years, and has seen how much the industry has changed over time, both towards service users and staff. Having that wealth of experience makes her recommendation even more meaningful to us.
She spoke about the impeccable level of care provided, starting with the support you get from management, and how being flexible with schedules around other important life commitments means staff don't have to rush and dash around, which in turn has a positive impact on the people receiving care.
During her time with us, Bridie noted how fondly and content the people she cared for spoke about the support they received, as it was so person-centred to each individual.
She summed it up perfectly: "I always use the viewpoint in care, 'how would I want to be treated, or my family members?' And I without a doubt would pick this provider above all others, knowing me or my family members would be in safe hands."
